Drum Circle

  • Casa del Teatre Roma 14 Carrer de Sant Magí, Baixos Tarragona, CT, 43004 Spain (map)

The weekly Drum Circle is a sacred gathering that celebrates the ancestral language of rhythm as a tool for connection, healing, and community resilience. Rooted in Indigenous, African, and diasporic drum traditions, this circle invites you to embody the heartbeat of the community and awaken deeper relational and somatic awareness. Whether you are rhythmically experienced or curious, all are welcome to participate in this decolonial practice of shared sound, ritual, and collective care.

What to expect:

  • Join a welcoming community of percussionists expressing collective rhythm freely

  • Engage in spontaneous, improvised drumming without structured teaching or hierarchy

  • Experience music as a shared, evolving conversation where every voice and beat matters

  • Connect through sound to ancestral rhythms and community healing beyond words

This open space honors the drum as a vessel for communal expression, welcoming all levels and encouraging playful exploration rather than formal instruction.
